Bond premiere proving a hit.
People are being encouraged to book tickets for the Foundation of Light’s exclusive north east premiere of the latest Bond film now to avoid disappointment.
Skyfall, starring British actor Daniel Craig, is the latest instalment in the Bond franchise which is currently celebrating its 50th year.
A special charity premiere of the film is being held at Boldon Cineworld on Thursday 25th October, a day ahead of the film’s official release, with a drinks reception beforehand attended by members of the SAFC first team.
Proceeds from the premiere will go towards the running of education and sport programmes run throughout the North East by the registered charity of the football club, the Foundation of Light.
Demand for the event has been high since tickets first went on sale and to make it that much easier it is now possible to book tickets online by clicking here.
Katrina Quinn, Foundation of Light Event Coordinator commented: “Skyfall has had fantastic reviews in the press and it’s shaping up to be one of the ‘must see’ films of the year. What better way to see it than at our glamorous premiere in the company of Sunderland players.
“It’ll be an opportunity not only to see the film before it goes on general release but also to see the players as you don’t normally see them!”
Guests will be treated to a drinks reception, sponsored by Heineken, where there’ll be opportunities to get involved in some Bond themed games with some fantastic prizes up for grabs. For guests who purchase a Gold ticket package there will also be access to a VIP area where there’ll be photo opportunities with the players.
