Former Cat a star in Bar chat.

1960s star Johnny Crossan took to the Black Cats Bar ahead of Saturday’s game with Aston Villa.

The Northern Irishman entertained the gathered crowd with anecdotes from his playing days and told how his weekly wages never surpassed £45 when he was a player.

He also revealed that growing up he lived in the very same county as a certain Martin O'Neill.

Crossan had a prolific goalscoring record during the three years he spent at Sunderland, scoring 39 goals in 82 appearances. 

The talk-ins are part of Black Cats Bar matchdays, where fans can enjoy a complimentary dish of the day, free matchday programme and take advantage of various drinks offers.
