Former Black Cat defender Michael Turner and on loan stars Ahmed Elmohamady and David Meyler have also donated items to the auction which will raise funds for SAFC’s official charity.

The auction will end on 16th December 2012 with delivery guaranteed before Christmas for UK residents who pay for items before 10am on Tuesday 18th December.

All auction items are listed under seller name foundation_of_light and can be found at www.ebay.co.uk or by clicking here.

Kim Phillips, the Foundation of Light’s Events Coordinator said:  “Our ebay auctions give fans an opportunity to own unique items from some of their football heroes, whilst helping fund vital sports, health, community and education programmes in their region.

“We would like to express our thanks to Sunderland AFC and all of the players who have donated items to the auction and support the Foundation of Light’s work throughout the season.”

The Foundation of Light (formerly known as SAFC Foundation) is the registered charity of Sunderland AFC which works with more than 42,000 people every year.

The organisation uses the power of football to inspire, involve and educate children, families and adults across the North East through programmes that can improve their lives.

Structurally and financially independent of the football club the organisation relies on fundraising for 95% of project costs.
