Extra Time – BTEC Sport and Active Leisure
10th February - Stadium of Light, Sunderland
27th January - Caterpillar Learning Centre of Light, Peterlee
A great course for young people wanting to take their first steps in the sport and leisure industry, Extra Time covers the BTEC Sport and Leisure level 1 curriculum in a four week, three days-a-week course. Participants gain a nationally recognised qualification and great understanding of the subject in a fun and relaxed learning atmosphere, and will even learn how to create their own nutrition and fitness plan.

Back on Track Study Programme, Immediate Start
Hedworthfield Community Associate, South Tyneside
A fantastic course for youngsters aged 16-18 years who want to develop themselves and their CV, this full time course runs until July 2014. The Back on Track Study Programme helps participants gain qualifications including BTEC Level 1 in Sport, Personal and Social Development Level 2, and Functional Maths and English Level 2 in a relaxed and informal setting focussing on individual’s goals and development.
