In addition, BBC Radio Newcastle’s popular Total Sport programme will broadcast live from the event and will feature Simon Pryde alongside former Sunderland player Gary Bennett and former Newcastle player John Anderson. Guests will have the opportunity to put their opinions and questions to the BBC football experts.

It’s a great opportunity to bring fans at both clubs together ahead of the new season and to enjoy a full day of racing. We are also very grateful to Leighton for sponsoring the event”
Throughout the day there will be a range of games and activities including a special Race Day accumulator where one guest will win hundreds of pounds.
Tickets for the event are available for £85 per person or £825 for a table of 10.
