JCT600 back Foundation Fashion evening. Its full speed ahead for the Foundation of Light’s Fashion Strikes event, as a stunning new sponsor comes on board.
Leading motor group, JCT600, is putting its driving force behind the fashion show and fundraising dinner, which is being held at the Stadium of Light on Monday, November 25.
The family-run firm, originally established in 1946, is one of the largest privately owned independent motor groups in the UK, with 21 franchises and 50 dealerships across the North of England.
And, thanks to the team at the Porsche dealership in Newcastle, visitors to the Fashion Strikes event will have the chance to get up-close and personal with a selection of the world’s most luxurious cars, parked in a mini showroom outside the Stadium of Light.
One lucky guest will also receive an early Christmas present, as the firm has donated a children’s Porsche go-kart to giveaway in a raffle on the night.
Scott Stevenson from Porsche Newcastle, said: “We work a lot with charities across the North East and wider UK and in recent months have tried everything from skydiving to baking in an effort to raise funds.
“As a football coach myself I understand the importance of reaching young people through sport and the challenges that accompany that and everyone at Porsche Newcastle is delighted to now be supporting such a worthy cause as the Foundation of Light’s Fashion Strikes event.”
Proceeds from the Porsche raffle, as well as ticket sales and auctions at Fashion Strikes, will all be used to help fund the Foundation of Light’s wide range of education and sports-based programmes, which benefit more than 42,000 young people and their families across the North East every year.
Phil King, Head of Commercial at the Foundation of Light, said: “Things are really revving up now for Fashion Strikes and we’re delighted to have such a prestigious name as Porsche Newcastle on board.”
