3663 supplying delightful menu for Foundation fundraising event.

Italy is known for its passion for fashion, as well as its love of fine food and drink.  Now, thanks to leading catering supplier 3663, we’re bringing both together in aid of the Foundation of Light.

The spectacular Fashion Strikes fundraising event, which returns to the Stadium of Light on Monday, November 25, will see models, including players from SAFC, strutting the catwalk in clothes from a host of high street and designer brands.

And, thanks to Gateshead-based 3663, guests at the event will be soaking up the style while tucking into the finest Italian cuisine.

Susan Justice Regional Account Controller for 3663 said: “Italians are renowned for being stylish, sophisticated, and having a great passion for good food, so what better cuisine could we offer guests at a fashion-focussed event than an Italian-themed feast, using the finest ingredients?”

3663’s three-course dinner will begin with a starter of Minestrone Zuppa – a classic Italian soup served with garlic croutons.

The meat-based main course of Pollo Farcito will include a chicken breast, wrapped in pancetta and stuffed with buffalo mozzarella and sage, while vegetarian visitors can enjoy Ravioli di Zucca with butternut squash, grilled vegetables, pesto and rocket.

For dessert 3663 will be serving Cioccolato Fondente con Arancia – a dark chocolate orange fondant with candied orange zest and clotted cream, followed by coffee and biscotti biscuits.

Phil King, Head of Commercial at the Foundation of Light, said:  “3663 has been a strong supporter of Fashion Strikes for several years now and the team there has done an amazing job developing this Italian menu for 2013.    I can’t wait to try all of the dishes and want to thank the firm for its ongoing support.”

Proceeds from Fashion Strikes, which will also include live entertainment and an auction, will be used to help fund the Foundation of Light’s wide range of education and sports-based programmes, which benefit more than 42,000 young people and their families across the North East every year.
