Samson and Delilah look back on the school break.
Have you all had a great half term? What have you all been up to? Delilah and I have had a great time, we have been all over Sunderland viewing the sights and exploring. You can find out all about our trips out in the next issue of Junior Black Cats Magazine, I hope you enjoy reading all about it. Don’t forget to send us pictures of what you have been up to, email them to firstname.lastname@example.org and you might be in the next magazine and might even win a prize!
Are you looking forward to the rest of the season? I can’t believe there are only six home matches left. There are three home games next month including a big game against Manchester United.
I have missed dancing with you all in the Family Zone as there has only been one home game during February. It has been great meeting you all over the season, have you enjoyed it? Let us know what your favourite thing has been and your ideas for future fun games.
We are already planning our trips out for the Easter holidays; you can see us at Ocean Beach Pleasure Park in South Shields on 8th April between 1.30 – 4pm where we will have lots of cool freebies to give away. If you have a season card make sure you check out your SAFC Rewards booklet for special discounts at Ocean Beach.
Exercise is very important when playing football, especially running. Delilah and I love running about on the pitch on match days but we try to keep as active as much as we can.
Do you like running? If you are aged 9 – 15 you can take part in Junior Miles of the North on 27th April. It is a one mile run through Mowbray Park and everyone who finishes gets a t-shirt, a very special medal and an invite to a pasta party. For more information visit www.marathonofthenorth.co.uk.
Don’t forget to check out the rest of my email, there’s a super competition where you can win tickets to North East Live! How cool is that? I hope I see some of you at the next home match against Fulham on 2 March.. Haway the Lads!
