Catch up with Samson and Delilah.

The first game of 2013 at the Stadium of Light kicked off well with an amazing win against West Ham, 3 - 0!

Larsson set the game off to a purr-fect start in the 12th minute with the first goal, followed by Johnson and McClean blasting goals past the Hammer’s keeper.

Alfred N’Diaye, Martin O’ Neill’s first signing of the winter transfer window made his first appearance, narrowly missing scoring a goal with his first touch of the ball. We think he’s going to be great!

The Black Cats got a great away win against Wigan on Saturday. Almost 5,000 fans travelled west to show their support at the game, have you ever been to an away match?

Martin O’ Neill’s newest Black Cat is Kader Mangane, he has come to Sunderland all the way from Saudi Arabia! Do you know where Saudi Arabia is? Delilah and I learned all about it in geography at school, it is very hot and there are lots of deserts. Let’s hope he has brought lots of warm clothes with him.

Have you enjoyed the snow? Did you build any snowmen? Delilah and I have been sledging and made snow angels in the garden! It’s been very cold so we made sure we wrapped up in our red and white scarves and hats that Santa brought us for Christmas.

You can check out our snowman on the Junior Black Cats section of the website, let us know what you think. We want to see what you have been getting up to in the snow, don’t forget to send us your pictures to juniorblackcats@safc.com.

It’s been great to see so many of you coming to the Family Zone early before the match to play on all of the games, I love having my picture taken with you all. Did you enjoy the Gangnam Style dance off at the game against West Ham?

Delilah and I have a fab time; it was that good the video is even on the Junior Black Cats website, can you spot yourself?
