Mascots can't wait to meet Gus Poyet.

The Black Cats have a new head coach – Gus Poyet! You can check out the new pictures of him in his red and white scarf at safc.com. We think he will be just purr-fect. Delilah and I have been learning all about him, did you know he was born in Uruguay and used to play in France? He scored an amazing 63 goals when he played for Zaragozas, how cool is that? We can’t wait to see him at the next home game against Newcastle United.

Well done to Caitlyn and Matthew who each bagged a pair of tickets to see the Black Cats take on Manchester City in the Family Zone.  Don’t forget Sibbers from Real Radio will be giving away match tickets, stadium tour vouchers, player posters and lots of other SAFC goodies at every match so I hope you can come along to see us at the Stadium of Light. Next match we will even be giving away FIFA 14 to one lucky fan.

Lucy age 3, took on her Dad in her first game of FIFA 13 on the Family Zone Playstations. I can’t wait until we get the new FIFA 14 so I can play against Delilah. Who do you think will score the most goals?

Are you enjoying being back at school? I love it. I’ll be playing on the footie team this year. Our school kit is red and white just like the Black Cats, how cool is that?

Are you looking for fun things to do during this half term? Have you ever wanted to sit in the dugout or have your picture taken in the changing rooms? Now you can! This October half term Junior Black Cats get to go on a free stadium tour when they come with a full paying adult.* An adult can call 0871 911 1224 to book now.

I hope you’re looking forward to the games coming up in October! Hopefully we’ll win them all! Ha'way The Lads!

Don’t forget to check out the rest of my email where you can win the chance to interview a player!

We love to see what you have been up to, remember to send us your pictures and you could star in our next magazine or on our website, email them to juniorblackcats@safc.com.
