I hope you all had a ‘hoppy’ Easter? Delilah and I had a cracking time. The Easter bunny left us some yummy chocolate. We had an egg decorating competition too. I painted mine red and white and drew the number 4 on the back like Ki has on his shirt and Delilah made hers look like Adam Johnson.

The Black Cats had an amazing win against Chelsea last weekend away at Stamford Bridge. They won 2-1, breaking Jose Mourinho’s record of 77 home wins in the Barclays Premier League. Ha’way the Lads.  I hope we can see lots of you in the Family Zone this Sunday when Sunderland AFC take on Cardiff City at the Stadium of Light. It’s an early kick off at 12pm so the Family Zone will be open from 10.30am.

Did you come along to the Stadium of Light to watch the Black Cats when they took on Crystal Palace in March? If you did you might have noticed that Delilah and I had been named after two special fans for the day; Jack and Lola. Jack and Lola have renewed their season card for next season and we think that makes them legends.  So, for one match we had their names on the back of our shirts.

Did you know the World Cup will take place this year in Brazil? To celebrate we are giving you the chance to win ‘Skills From Brazil’ by Dan Freedman. You can learn all about Brazilian football and its culture. All you have to do to win is answer the following question and send your answer to juniorblackcats@safc.com before Saturday 16 May 2014 -

Which country hosted the 2010 World Cup?

Delilah and I are counting down the days until North East Live. Delilah loves The Saturdays and is always practising their dance moves in the mirror and singing into hair brushes. I like Jason Derulo, did you know he is flying all of the way from America especially to perform? Have you seen the latest acts to be added to the line up? Katy B, Neon Jungle and Rixton will also be performing. It’s going to be just purr-fect.

Because Junior Black Cats are our favourite fans, parents and guardians can save £10 on general admission tickets to the concert on Sunday 22 June until 20 May when they buy now  using the password 'sunderland'.

Don’t forget to check out our great North East Live competition in the rest of my email. You could win tickets for your whole class or VIP tickets for you and your friends!  Plus anyone who buys a ticket before the end of May will be in with the chance of meeting one of North East Live’s hottest acts!

Were you lucky enough to come to our Family Fun Day last year? Delilah and I are already making plans for this year’s event which will take place at the Stadium of Light on Saturday 5 July. Tickets are on sale now and adults can get their paws on them from the Stadium of Light ticket office for £5 each. There will be stadium tours, funfair rides, footy games with the Foundation of Light and of course you can meet Delilah and I. We can’t wait!
