The Premier League is the world’s most popular sporting competition, with a cumulative worldwide audience of a staggering 4.2bn people across more than 200 countries.
SAFC Global is a club initiative to grow and develop the club’s following and partnerships across the world. It grew out of SAFC In Africa, which focused on developing partnerships across the continent and beyond, including through the Invest in Africa initiative.
Valued partnerships with organisations such as Bidvest, South African Airways and Acacia Mining have been founded and developed, along with relationships with partner football clubs Bidvest Wits in South Africa and Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko.
Activities on the ground in those countries continue, with Sunderland widening their focus across the rest of the world through SAFC Global.
