Sunderland Under-18s return to league action this Saturday to host Middlesbrough at the Academy of Light (11am)
The Black Cats head into the fixture following a 3-1 victory over Manchester United.
Opposition
Middlesbrough currently sit ninth in the U18 Premier League with six wins, six draws and ten defeats from 22.
The Boro are without a win in six having previously suffered 2-1 home defeat to Blackburn Rovers.
Frankie Coulson is the clubs leading goalscorer with six goals in 17.
James Marwood was appointed their Lead Coach in July after the departure of Lee Cattermole.
The 33-year-old made over 100 senior career appearances for Gateshead over two spells. Marwood also had stints at St Mirren and Forest Green Rovers before going into coaching.
U18 Premier League
Manchester United currently sit top of the table with just two defeats this season.
Manchester City, Wolves and Derby make up the rest of the top four.
Victory for the Black Cats could see Fin Lynch's side leapfrog Stoke City in the bottom three.
Following the Middlesbrough fixture, the Lads will host Blackburn and then travel to Stoke City on the final day.
